HERITAGE IN EVERY BOWL: LO SCOGLIO'S COLLABORATION WITH DI LUNEDI
A celebration of Italian craftsmanship and shared heritage.

Lo Scoglio’s latest endeavor, the Heritage Bowls collection, is a celebration of Italian artistry that feels like an intimate conversation between past and present. The collaboration with ceramic artist Elise Eales of Di Lunedi and photographer Anna Pihan brings together three creative forces to honor the beauty of Italian craftsmanship and shared heritage, each piece offering more than just aesthetic value—it’s a story waiting to be told.
At the heart of this collection is Angelica Arnott, founder of Lo Scoglio, who was inspired by a deeply personal journey to Stromboli, the volcanic island where her father spent his childhood. The trip, spurred by her desire to connect with her late father’s legacy, became the foundation for these bowls, which embody the connection between family, history, and the rituals of the table. “The table, and what we share upon it, is how we connect to who we are and who we’ve been,” Angelica explains. “These bowls are meant to be vessels of remembrance and legacy, an homage to the land and stories of my family.”

Crafted in Italy by Elise Eales, each bowl carries the weight of tradition. The collection features a unique ramina green glaze, a color deeply rooted in Italian maiolica pottery, rarely seen outside of the country. The texture and hue reflect Stromboli’s earthy simplicity, while the craftsmanship elevates the pieces to fit seamlessly into the refined settings of Lo Scoglio. “These aren’t just plates; they’re a way for people to feel rooted, to find beauty in the rituals of everyday life,” says Elise. “Each bowl reflects a moment, a memory, or a place where life feels the most present.”
The Heritage Bowls transcend the idea of tableware as purely functional objects. Angelica hopes these pieces become family heirlooms, imbued with the same kind of emotional resonance she felt while creating them. “I think of my family reaching for the same bowl each meal,” she says. “It’s my hope that the Heritage Bowls inspire others to create their own rituals, to find joy in gathering, and a sense of belonging through the tactile experience of these plates.”

Available exclusively through Lo Scoglio, the Heritage Bowls are offered as a limited edition starting at $300 AUD.
This collection marks the first in an ongoing series that will continue to bring the essence of Italian artistry into homes across the world. For those who value authenticity and the stories that live within our most treasured objects, these bowls are more than a collection—they are an invitation to share, to gather, and to remember.
