SLEEP

For the last two years my husband and I haven’t had a fixed address, we’ve been travelling the world staying

a few months in new places. At the moment we’re in Paris (J’ADORE), staying in the 2nd arrondissement. When I’m in Paris I love to stay in Le Marais, or within walking distance to it. Every which way you walk there’s a new corner to explore and it’s packed with fabulous people and fabulous things. If you like vintage, flea markets, concept stores, fashion, culture - this is the place to be in Paris.

EAT

OMG SO MANY. If you’re in this area and you love an Aussie vibe cafe, Season is the place to go. They have Oatly and the best things on the menu are the cauliflower rice buddha bowl and the veggie ramen. So. Yum!

A few hundred metres away is a tiny taco place called Candalaria, order the frijoles (black bean soup). I’m obsessed, multiple bowls are mandatory.

There’s a tiny little pizza place around the corner called Dalmata Pizza, and it’s very *pink* if you like that kind of thing (I do, obvs).

Kodawari Ramen Tsukiji is a a tiny ramen restaurant based off the famous Tokyo fish market. It feels like you step into another world and it’s full of new sounds-smells-tastes.

Cloud Cakes is another tiny cafe with a vegan menu and the Cloud Curry Bowl is too delicious on a cold day. They also have Oatly.

DO

Paris is a city to get lost in, the best thing to do is just walk and find new corners.

There are flea markets all over the city every Saturday and Sunday. The oldest is in St Oeun and you need a few hours -at least- to discover the thousands of tiny stalls.

I found some vintage hair clips from the 60’s, made in France that are currently on high rotation in my wardrobe.

If you have some more time up your sleeve, take the trip to Versailles Palace. Easily the most impressive in the world and a place you have to go and see. It’s beauty is breathtaking!

It’s been 10 years since I last visited The Lourve, but I think it’s a place you should try to visit every time you come. The crown jewels are so beautiful and the extravagance of Napoleon’s apartment is well worth a visit.

SHOP

Deyrolle is the oldest curiosity shop in Paris, it’s quite confronting as it holds one of the largest collections of taxidermy in the world.

It’s known for it’s bug collections and butterflies. It’s a 4th generation family owned store and if you have an interest in natural history and science it’s a must-do thing.

Vintage shopping in Paris is some of the best, especially if you’re into a spot of designer vintage. Kiliwatch is one of the bigger ones, there’s also Bobby Depot Vente and Pretty Box. I bought the cutest little Dior bag from Chez Snow Bunny.

Merci is a concept store over a few floors with a bunch of different designers across homewares, jewellery and fashion.

I love the Shakespear and Co bookstore. It’s cute and cosy with all sorts of wonderful books.

For beauty addicts, make sure you get to City Pharma! It’s 4 floors full of the French Pharma cult brands. Everything is 20-50% off regular retails prices and it’s totally fab. Go when you have some energy - it’s always jam packed with people and can be quite overwhelming - and hot!

The Chiara Ferragni store. If you love glitter, go here immediately.

Suzon Concept Store - a beautiful decorated jewellery store where you can find my sparkly jewellery brand Kincs!

PACK

*Pack light so you can fit more treasures in your suitcase to go home.*

This trip I’ve been living in my Chiara Ferragni glitter heart sneakers, Fame & Partners check print suit, vintage Dior and stacks on stacks of Kincs jewels.

Oh, and a keep cup!
