RICOS TACOS x ROCKER BONDI
Royalty doesn’t do it for me. ‘The Crown’ is boring. Queen Elizabeth is old. Down with the monarchy. But food royalty? That’s a whole other story. Case in point when I found out Taco King Toby Wilson (Ricos Tacos food truck & in-house taqueria of The George RIP) was heading to the East I almost lost it.
Toby has teamed up with Rocker restaurant for a one-off month-long hyphen-heavy pop-up in Bondi. This is the Taco Tuesdays of your dreams with Toby Wilson starring as guest chef bringing the tacos, tostadas and churros from November 22nd – December 15th only!
This is the first time Ricos Tacos have ventured out to the East for a residency, creating dishes that can’t be prepared from the regular truck.
We’re talking kingfish ceviche, avocado, citrus, soy & sesame tostadas ($7), chicken tinga – chipotle and tomato braised chicken tacos ($6) and churros with lemon zest, chamomile sugar and dulce de leche ($9). Holly hell!
You’ve got less than a month to experience taco royalty, so I’d suggest getting down to Rocker asap!
